  Tried to order a cake 6 days in advance at Victoria point. Unable to bake it in time.
  Nerang did not have the recipe?????. Cleveland had no problem with only two days to go. Fantastic cake and great service to go with it. We will only order from Cleveland in the future. Thanks

  Cleveland cheesecake shop did such a terrible
  finish on my very loved mother's birthday cake today after requesting for more decorative icing to be put around the edge of the cake which it had none, which had only some around the top to start with. I was horrified when I first went to pick it up. Owner said, that my mother had said that she wanted pink and green roses on the cake. Well there was pink and green bright swirls around the top of the cake's edge only. When I implied it would be nicer to have roses around the side of the cake as well because it didn't look fancy enough or pretty enough, the women, whom was his partner said, it is pretty, I said no it's not. I said, the pink and green was too bright and it would be nicer and softer looking if the pink and green were a lighter colour, he said, yes mam we can do that for extra $10 and come back at 7pm and this was 5.20pm. I went back at there closing time at 7pm. The shop was busy with customers, a young girl came and gave me the cake and took the $10 dollars, when I opened the box. The first thing I noticed was that it was still the bright colours and had not been lightened to soften the colours at all. The swirls were not neat at all and didn't look anything like a rose. A very amateur job. Bad service in not taking particular notice to a customers request and wishes. I had no time left to come go back again, as we are leaving the next morning early for the sunshine coast for mum's birthday party. The whole excercise cost $45. Rip.
